Cooking Instructions
Cook the Sweet Chilli Pork Bites with their sauce according to the pack instructions until piping hot and cooked through.
While the bites cook, mash the avocado with the lime juice and a pinch of salt, leaving it a little chunky.
Warm the tortillas in a dry frying pan for 20–30 seconds each side, or wrap in foil and warm in the oven for 5 minutes.
Fill each tortilla with shredded lettuce, tomato and red onion. Add 2 pork bites and a little of the sweet chilli sauce, then a spoonful of smashed avocado and a drizzle of sour cream. Finish with coriander and a squeeze of lime.
For a party, set everything out in bowls and let people build their own. Allow one pack of bites for every two people.
Are these tacos good for kids? Yes. The sweet chilli flavour is a hit with most children. Let them build their own and leave out the red onion if they prefer.
How do I stop tacos going soggy? Warm the tortillas just before serving and add the sour cream last. Assembling at the table keeps everything fresh and crisp.
What sides go with pork tacos? Corn on the cob, a simple slaw, or rice and black beans all work well.
